Steve Jones, the legendary guitarist of the Sex Pistols, called me early one Sunday morning years ago in response to an email I had sent him. I wanted to create a McSwain Guitar model in honor of the man, the myth, the legend.. Steve Jones. We had several meetings of the minds and came up with the theme of "Admiral Jonesy". I designed the Admiral around the classic portrait of Napoleon around a burning ship under siege of cannons firing soccer balls. This guitar is a mahogany and maple body (a classic combination of guitar tone woods) and a 3-piece mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard. Steve Jones signs each guitar and has played this guitar on stage.
