Machine
McSwain has always loved old steam engines, submarines and basically anything that has that old industrial look. Several years ago, he decided to begin experimenting with metal tops after a request from Mike Tempesta, former guitarist of Powerman 5000. We modified his Schecter model and did a limited run of 10 guitars for them. Since then, McSwain has been scouring old junk yards and airplane graveyards to get just the right old analog gauges and metal to create the guitars that are featured here in the Machine Series. We keep each of these guitars in the same general design as the original Machine (#0001 - owned by Les Hall). The bright tone of the metal combined with the warmth of the tone chambered mahogany and a set neck gives these guitars a totally unique sound that is vintage, but edgy enough the sustain for days. Metal RULES!!!!
