Brian 'Head' Welch jokingly asked McSwain if he could carve some of the figures from 'Follow the Leader' album cover into the guitar. McSwain said yes while not really knowing if it would work out or not, and it became on of his favorite pieces! He carved the Korn Kids out of maple and inlayed bird taxidermy eyes before staining and wood burning the detail and recessing them into the mahogany body. The final touch went into the volume knob which was a caricature of heads, um... head.
